Coming soon…

Hello all!

It has been a year, has it not! We went through a pandemic. I went through several career changes (eventually landing back on teaching), but here we are again!

An update on myself. I recently decided to hold back on finishing my master’s degree, pursuing a job as a high school math teacher. I have my certification, and I have my bachelors. I am fully qualified, but alas, I was unable to get a teaching position. Instead, I took a job as a substitute for Union County schools. Therefore, in the near future, I will be moving back to Blairsville, but I still plan to provided tutoring services in the North Georgia region (though, I may be limited to doing so online instead of in person).

Due to various factors, my rates have gone up; however, I am willing to negotiate with those who have specific financial needs. Feel free to schedule an set-up meeting, and we can talk then.

Lastly, I am still setting up this website. If you have any ideas on how to improve this website, pleas let me know.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the 2021-2022 academic year! It’s going to be a good one; I can feel it!

-Jack

Just getting started!

Hello People of Dahlonega,

This is an update on the current standings of Bachman Tutoring. In this post, I will cover online tutoring options for the COVID-19 situation, planning for the future, and new social media presence.

Tutoring during COVID-19

First, I wanted to mention that I am available for tutoring during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am still setting things up, but I am available to tutor using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or any other (free) video sharing platform. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! further more I realize summer is fast approaching, and many public schools are closing early. I wanted to take a moment and say that I am more than willing to take on new students now. Normally, I would like to start as early as I can in the semester to really plan for my sessions, but since we are in the tail end of the semester, I won’t have that kind of luxury. Thus, I will say that prices are negotiable at the moment to accommodate for the lack of preparation.

Summer Plans

Speaking of the summer, I wanted to spend some time talking about my plans for Bachman Tutoring services. First off, I will be available to tutor over the summer. Currently, I am looking for a job, so my hours of availability may change. Also because of it being summer, I know not many people will be looking for a tutor, so I will be focusing a lot of my spare time to improving the services. For example, I recently created some social media accounts for Bachman Tutoring so that you can have easier access to the service. Also, I am currently looking into getting an official tutoring certificate (more details on that later). If there is any other way you think I can improve this start-up, please let me know. All feedback is welcomed and even encouraged! But overall, I am still available to tutor during the summer, and I will continue to improve Bachman Tutoring services.

Social Media

Lastly, I wanted to announce that I created social media accounts for Bachman Tutoring!

Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/Bachman-Tutoring-109107667461321/

Twitter account: https://twitter.com/BachmanTutoring

If there are any other social media platforms you wish to have easy access to Bachman Tutoring, please let me know!

Final Regards,

Thank you for your time and support. Please, if there is any way you think I can improve this website, this business, (or even myself) please let me know. Go to the Contact Page to send me a quick email of your ideas/suggestions. Feel free to message me on Facebook or Twitter, or you can comment on this post.

Thank you again, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Welcome!

Hello!

My name is Jack Bachman. I am a recent graduate from the University of North Georgia and an even more recent entrepreneur.

I went to North Georgia to get a degree in mathematics. During my studies, I fell in love with the content, and I developed a passion for teaching it to others. Upon graduating, I started the certification process to becoming a teacher; however, I was disheartened by the amount of work demanded of teachers. So, I decided to leave the program, but I was left with figuring out what to do with my degree. I still enjoy learning and teaching mathematics, so I decided to go into tutoring. Hence forth there existed and was born Bachman Tutoring services.

My long term goal is to develop a network of tutors to meet the demands of the North Georgia region, but for now, I would like to focus on helping some students out with mathematics.

Thank you for your time, your patronage, and yourself. I hope to hear from you soon.
