Hello! My name is Jack Bachman. I’ve been working as a mathematics educator for over 5 years. I was a peer tutor in college, student teacher for an MAT internship, a paraprofessional for a middle school, and a professional math tutor for the University of North Georgia. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Statistics, and I have a few graduate level courses in education, specifically in secondary mathematics education.
A little more about me: I love mathematics, and I love sharing that passion with others, helping and encouraging others to learn it too. I believe anyone and everyone can do well in a math class. All that they would need is the right mindset. More importantly, it is not my place to determine a student’s future, but instead to make all paths available to them.
In addition, I am an advocated for mental health, and I acknowledge the difficulty many of us face in our education. I believe every student deserves a holistic approach to their education, and that it is my job to facilitate that.
If you would like to know more about my education and experience, feel free to fill out the form at the bottom of the page requesting for my resume.
